Description
Crassula tetragona (Miniature Pine Tree) comes from South Africa. This plant does not tolerate extreme cold, if you are in USDA hardiness zones 9-11, you can leave the plant outdoors all year long. In areas where the cold weather is more intense it will need to be in the house in a sunny south window. It is a small plant that grows up to 3 or 4 feet tall. It grows very slow in winter light conditions. It needs full sun, so a south window is best or a west window, make sure there are no tress shading the window, in most homes watering once a week is enough, when you water make sure that water drains out the bottom of the container that the plant is in.
